As with its Seaside-class counterparts, one of MSC Seashore's biggest highlights is its sweeping four-deck atrium, which serves as one of the ship's main hubs of activity. Chrome and colored lights give it a hip feel, but the vibe also oozes sophistication, courtesy of a transparent, backlit staircase inlaid with thousands of Swarovski crystals. Following a two-night media preview voyage to Ocean Cay, MSC's private island, I've got some thoughts about the vessel.

A relatively new cruise ship constructed by Fincantieri at the popular Monfalcone shipyard in Italy, MSC Seashore is a member of MSC Cruises’s Seaside EVO class, and the first of its kind, with sister ship MSC Seascape following a year later. Here's everything you need to know about the MSC Seashore cruise ship, part of the Seaside EVO class, with an overview and things to do. The kids club uses the sports court for various activities and programming. When you sign up your kids for programs at the start of the cruise, they will receive a wristband with a barcode that has details on the child, including date of embarkation, age and allergies. We also had a MSC for Me wristband, and it worked all over the ship and in our Yacht Club, allowing us to open doors and scan for drinks. There is no ATM so if you want to add any cash to your gratuities, get some before you board or in port.

The Yacht Club is an exclusive onboard area of accommodations plus a restaurant, bar/lounge, pool and sun deck reserved for the Yacht Club guests. Occupants also have access to a slew of perks like concierge and butler service. MSC Seashore offers a variety of standard cabin types, including insides, outsides with windows and balconies with verandas. They are outfitted with bedside closets that are sometimes difficult to access because of their proximity to the beds, as well as the sliding-door system that only allows one side of the closet to be accessed at a time. However, the accommodations are cozy and elegantly designed, and there's plenty of drawer and shelf space, as well as under-bed storage for suitcases. The premium option offers much roomier than interior staterooms on other ships, these options include full bar areas, big beds, sitting areas, spacious bathrooms, and lots of storage.
Design and specifications
MSC Seashore is brimming with thoughtful details, great design and looks fabulous. Is MSC Seashore Family Friendly?
While you'll be treated like the king of the world if you book either of these suites, the best special perk of these rooms, in our opinion, is the reserved double daybed at the Yacht Club pool that stewards will set aside for you for your entire cruise. The Yacht Club on MSC Seashore is the largest in the fleet and it's truly a special experience loaded with perks, to the point where we'd rather take an interior cabin here than a balcony "outside" on the rest of the ship. The Mini Club has a partnership with LEGO, and is designed for kids between ages 3 to 6 with various arts and crafts activities. One highlight of the club is the Doremi Disco, where the entire family is invited. With so much outdoor space, MSC Seashore has loungers all over the ship. While the main areas can fill up, you won't lack for a place to hang out outdoors.
MSC Seashore has 2,270 cabins across the spectrum, with 11 stateroom and suite categories available. The decor is modern and contemporary, and in a sense, a sanctuary from the bling and glitz outside in the ship's public areas. While there are no solo cabins, MSC Seashore has plenty of cabins for families and multi-generations traveling together; almost 70 percent of the rooms will hold four people. The Teen Club is for ages 15 and 17, with a wealth of programming and a space that has its own private entrance. New on MSC Seashore is the TLS Teens Late Show, a weekly teen night show with a host that puts the guests front and center. There's also a new Teen LAB, filled with the latest in tech for interactive and immersive experiences.

● Connectivity was one of the biggest challenges felt across the ship during our sailing. Wi-Fi was not only spottier than a leopard, but regular cell service was also hard to come by, even in port. This made communication with people both on and off the ship a hassle most of the time and downright impossible some of the time. MSC Seashore is one of the most environmentally-sound ships at sea and an energy-efficient role model for modern cruising. Air emissions • 98% reduction of sulphur oxide (SOx) and 90% reduction of nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions thanks to the most advanced technologies.

Watch where you sit, though, as some daybeds are reserved for passengers in the uppermost suites. We're used to a healthy nightlife on MSC cruise ships, and so our experience on MSC Seashore during February 2022 was a bit odd. Indoor dance parties were not being held because of COVID-19 precautions, and people went to bed early, definitely an anomaly from what we've seen on MSC in the past.
Curiously, this was the world's ever-first ship naming ceremony held at a private island. On the same day (Nov 18th) was launched/floated out from drydock the sistership MSC Seascape. MSC Cruises (MSC Crociere) is a passenger shipping company headquartered in Genoa and Naples. Today, MSC Crociere is a subsidiary of MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company) - the world's 2nd largest containership company.
